SouSou Fund, From Article 8. Section 2.

The SouSou Fund is a strategic mechanism to mitigate ongoing healthcare harms. A certain percentage, determined by the Board of Representatives, of the Cooperative’s revenue is allocated into the SouSou Fund for redistribution at the end of the year. Members may also choose to have any patronage of net proceeds contribute to the Fund.

The Fund will then annually support a health-related intervention selected by members. Intervention examples include the elimination of a pool of medical debt, healthcare mutual aid, a street medic supply drive, or other value-related initiatives in need of one-time funding support.

Resource Redistribution Form

Redistribution and mutual aid are critical tools to address the linkage between health outcomes and access to resources.
